nested for loop in python

for n in range (2, 10):
    for x in range (2, n):
        if n % x == 0:
            print(n, "equals ", x, "*", n/x)
            break
    else:
        # loop fell through without finding a factor
        print(n, "is a prime number ")

output:

2 is a prime number
3 is a prime number
4 equals  2 * 2.0
5 is a prime number
6 equals  2 * 3.0
7 is a prime number
8 equals  2 * 4.0
9 equals  3 * 3.0
